Americans for American Energy is a non-profit, grassroots-based organization dedicated to educating the public about the importance of greater energy independence for America and promoting public policies that support that goal.

We have members, allies and supporters from the agriculture, small business, manufacturing, state legislative leaders and others from coast to coast.

Americans for American Energy is led by Wyoming State Senator Bill Vasey, a Democrat from Rawlins, Wyoming.  You can see our information on our Board of Directors here.

Americans for American Energy accepts financial and in-kind contributions from individuals, corporations, associations and other entities.  We have filed with the IRS for tax exempt status under Section 501(c)(4).  If such status is approved, contributions to Americans for American Energy may or may not be considered deductible -- consult your tax advisor for more information.
